I stay here now and again, always last minute, the staff are great, always make you welcome and I like the first name terms, have a feel good atmosphere, I shall keep returning.

Hier wäre eine flüssige, natürliche englische Bewertung: A beautiful pub with surprisingly comfortable rooms. The restaurant is simply outstanding – we had the best fish and chips ever there. Breakfast: a full English breakfast with everything you could wish for, and for those who enjoy it, the vegan option is genuinely excellent as well. The restaurant and pub areas are far more than just cozy, and the adjoining room is lovingly designed and incredibly inviting. About the staff: we received an absolutely warm welcome, and throughout our stay the service and office team were highly professional, exceptionally attentive, and genuinely friendly. We chose the hotel as the perfect base for visiting Cambridge. It is located in a small village and feels wonderfully peaceful and secluded, yet it is extremely easy to reach Cambridge, as a bus stops directly outside the pub approximately every 30 minutes and takes you straight into the city centre. It really could not be more convenient. There is also plenty of easily accessible parking, and the entire setting of the pub beside an old church is simply unique.

It was beautiful- every detail has been thought about in the bedrooms - very quiet air con; very spacious; placement of plug sockets; storage and powerful shower. Extremely quiet and a really comfortable bed. I often don’t sleep well when away from home but it was perfect. The restaurant and gardens are beautiful and so relaxing. The staff were friendly and attentive but not obtrusive. Dinner was delicious. They even went out of their way to find a pudding I would like. Julia was especially brilliant as she went that extra mile and shows how much she cares about her customers- That’s the reason that we are looking to book again for a longer trip. Also, use the park and ride scheme 5 mins down the road to get into Cambridge.

Everything ! Lovely surroundings, quiet and well maintained, 10 minutes drive from Cambridge, great home cook meals with fresh products, confortable bed.

Lovely spacious, clean room. Easy check-in and shown to our room by a member of staff. Lovely breakfast and evening meal. Slight issue with Sunday evening meal, but staff were very professional and went out of their way to resolve the issue
