Crown & Punchbowl

Lovely place in a quiet village very close to Cambridge. Very close to Park and Ride and there is even a bus into the city that stops right outside. The room was very nice, spacious, clean, good tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was very big with a fantastic shower. Bed was king size and very comfortable (medium firm). Plenty of pillows provided which you don't always get at other places. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made sure we had a good stay. Breakfast is very good with plenty of choice of hot and cold items. The hot food was cooked to order so always fresh, hot and delicious. They were happy to accommodate any preferences and make changes to the standard items. Nice big car park so plenty of room.

Goed restaurant, wel prijzig, kamers wat klein.

Kamer met queensize bed was wat klein. De douchekop had een erg harde straal, er was geen handdouche. De kamer lag boven de keuken van het restaurant en grenste aan de ventilatie. Dit maakte een langdurig dof dreunend geluid als het restaurant in bedrijf was. Dus van ca 19-22 uur en in de ochtend rond 7-9 uur. Zeer hinderlijk. Verder werd er automatisch al 10% service ‘fooi’ berekend bij het diner en 1 pond voor een goed doel ongeacht of je dit het waard vond. Komt als opdringerig over.

Had a lovely 2 night stay with a group of friends. We booked 5 rooms and it was good to see that all the rooms were of an equivalent quality and no-one had to compromise! Very comfortable rooms, beds and ensuites. A really comfortable stay and great to return to and relax after a busy day in Cambridge

Good breakfast but not included in price of room. Easy secure parking . Comfortable spacious room in older part of inn , very comfortable bed with good maid service.

Lovely Inn, lovely decor- friendly and welcoming staff, very good bar food and good breakfast and very comfortable bed. Can recommend.

Sauber und gut ausgestattet. Gute Lage für Wanderungen in der Umgebung. Bus nach Cambridge alle 30 Min fast vor der Haustür. Sehr gutes Frühstück gegen Zuzahlung vor Ort.
