amazing views from the main level balcony. apartment is very large and spacious with a decently well equipped kitchen for cooking meals.

The property inside is good and spotless clean, but the outdoor area steels the show. big area to relax with an awesome view over the city, the ocean and pico on the other side.

The view was really beautiful. The are was very calm but at the same time there was a coffee place and shop close by.

The view is amazing. We had really good weather, so could sit outside every day. The apartment is really spacious and light (big windows). The bed was really comfortable. I didn’t meet the host, but I had WhatsApp contact with her. She responded really quickly and made sure we had everything we needed.

Spacious, and great views of Pico

One suggestion: the two different apartments should be differentiated in the listing on booking - with the relevant pictures for each apartment. (There is one on the ground floor, one on the first floor)

Views of Pico were amazing. We really appreciated the lift from the airport and we were able to stay an extra night when the ferry was cancelled. Really good location and make sure you go to the bakery for Bolos de Belim!

The apartment is very well equipped and has a great panoramic view over the sea on the Pico. Miguel is a very caring and kind host. Thank you for picking us up from the airport and for the many good tips!

There is no way that there is a better place to stay in Velas than this beautiful house with amazing views straight to Pico Island. The handover keys was perfect even though our flight was delayed by 8h. The house has everything you need (well, missed some olive oil for cooking hahaha). Room are spacious, living room is huge and the terrace with the views and the barbecue are just perfect. The house is a 1min drive to the main supermarket in Sao Jorge and parking is right outside the house. House is big enough to host 7 people with plenty of space. I really find hard to believe that there is a better place in Velas!!! And the biggest thumbs up for our hosts, because we had a ferry late at night and we could check out late afternoon, that was a huge life saver. Really appreciated.

Minor details. Maybe a bigger television would be awesome for when it is rainy outside, or maye some more comfy chairs for the living room. But really, for the price offered, more than happy with what we got :-) 10/10

Nicely decorated, modern and clean. Pleasant owner. Fast internet.

Unfortunately outside the place was infested with cockroaches and because there were no insect nets we had to keep doors and windows closed.
