Studios and Suites 4 Less Western Branch

There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke on the floor I was staying in. The building appears to be in the midst of renovations, so the inside of the building was a bit of a mess. However, the hotel rooms were clean, and not too bad a deal for the price

It looked like they were trying do interior improvements but there were no “pardon of dust” signs, which I feel always helps. Also no phone in the room and no ice machine on our floor and no explanation why. Furniture looked a little dirty and stagnant smell in room.

It was ok for one night’s stay. But wouldn’t recommend longer than that. The room felt run down with the TV on the wall at an angle and the furniture old. Also there was a lot of noise next door and outside. Maybe the whole place needs a revamp.

I'm not gonna complain too much because of how little I paid for the room. I will say that the hotel needs an update and the hotel guests that were there made it uncomfortable to be there.

The hotel is very nice, clean room with friendly staff. The area has many fast food restaurants. Nice quiet area.

We arrived late and requested use of a bathroom as we checked in. Staff manager refused to allow and directed The staff member was nasty and unrelenting. I got into an argument only to have her say that her father owned the hotel and no matter what, I would not be allowed to stay. I explained that I had travelled long, am 69 years old and never heard of a motel without a bathroom in the lobby for guests She remained behind a bullet-proof 2 inch plexiglass, called the police officer stationed directly in front of the entrance. This should have been instructive...bullet proof glass, stationary police officer. Worse experience ever.

Staff was nice the hotel needs more updating and upkeep my room smelled of mildew.

I enjoyed my stay. Hotel is clean, nice staff, and good area. Restaurants and shopping plaza close by.

I've got to say that for the price I really didn't have high expectations, but a few things did bother me a bit.. Upon entering my room there was noticeable stains all over the couches, floor and sheets. The bed sheet was turned inside out which makes me think they were not clean, the towels in the bathroom "looked" clean but once inspected I found several hairs. I would stay again given the price, but as I did this stay, take your own lysol, disinfectant wipes, sheets and towels.
