The Old New Inn

The location in Bourton-on-the-Water was excellent, central position in a beautiful Cotswold village. Our room was well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The breakfast each morning was very good and plenty to see us through the day.

1. Location was fantastic. In the middle of everything. 2. Breakfast was good 3. Room is spacious, quiet at night and peaceful.

1. A little bit difficult to carry my luggages to 1st floor, narrow. Stair case, but not. Major concern.

In general, the Old New Inn was a good place to stay, with the one exception noted below.

I needed to reduce our stay by one day, checking out a day early on April 29 instead of April 30. I told the hotel staff when we checked in on April 26. They said to bring this up in the morning, which I did. The manager wasn't in until noon and when I mentioned this to him again, he said I needed to contact Booking.com which I did. And he said he would approve the refund for one day once Booking.com contacted him. My inquiry with Booking.com and with the hotel never produced a refund. No explanation or reason ever mentioned.

Brilliant location, lovely staff. Parking, breakfast and room exceptional. Loved the themed rooms, clean and modern bathroom.

As we were there on the hottest days of the year, we had windows open and the traffic was a bit noisy. Probably ok in normal conditions as they had provided a fan and rooms at the back of the property would have been better.

A beautiful property with rich history. It was a pleasure to stay here. The room was extremely comfortable and cosy with an efficient bathroom attached. The view from my window gave me a sneak peek of the water. A delicious breakfast was included with my overnight stay. Very central location and surprisingly quiet. The price was also reasonable and included a complementary tour of the Bourton-on-the-Water Model Village directly behind the accommodation.

I have nothing negative to report about this property!

The room was very spacious and modern, and the breakfast was superb. The hotel was in a great location and despite the room being on the ground floor next to the road, it was very quiet.
