"Exceptional"

It was clean and comfortable. nice breakfast. We loved the patio; it is close to the front of the building a great place to enjoy the views and get warm. It is conveniently located close to almost everything in Boise.

Hot tub was down when we got there and steam room not working properly. This was part of the reason we book this hotel. We wanted to relax a bit before going to bed, after a long day of traveling and exploring.

Outside look, Lobby and big rooms

House keeping didn’t clean our room or give us new towels. Freeway noise and by the truck stop. 4th floor and near that even ear plugs didn’t work.

"Rude Uninformed Staff"

I haven’t stayed at Boise Hotel 28 by Ascend, but called to ask a question about their advertised ParkFlySleep option. I didn’t get a chance to ask anything, because Calvin said they didn’t offer that. He said, “Everyone would just use it to get cheap airport parking”, then hung up on me. I called again later to make certain they really do offer that option, and a far nicer person answered and assured me that they do. I’ve decided to stay somewhere else though, since I don’t want to risk encountering the unpleasant Calvin!

Rooms were spacious and clean, staff friendly and helpful.

Hot tub was way too hot, impossible to use. Can’t imagine it was even safe. Sink in room was very sluggish to drain.

Room was dirty, stuff left on floor from previous people who stayed, no toilet paper. We always check under bed for bed bugs and noticed the dust ruffle on box spring was stained with blood and other liquid/soil stains. Very disgusting. We had to ask to have housekeeping, which was fine. The first morning we asked for it we were told no because they got slammed with too many people. So we asked for it the next day and they said yes. Come back at end of day and they never came. Will not be coming back to this place.
