Hotel 28 Boise Airport, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Room on Interstate side of hotel is noisy so much so earplugs are provided in the room. If you are not used to traffic noise you may need to requests a room away from the road noise. Would rate safety, facilities, breakfast and associates excellent.

Good job

The room was very clean, the bathtub drained, the shower head was great, I liked the laminate floor instead of carpet and the room was spacious. The two things that kept it from a 5 star was that the desk was never at the desk because they were tasked with so many other things:/ I saw people wait and wait there and then they just gave up. The same was true when I called before and during my trip with questions You need another person out there--it is a busy place! The other thing was the parking. Everyone was jammed packed down there. It is super hard to turn into a spot and get out of a spot. And then everyone was sandwiched in close. Also the box trucks parked behind the cars also provided a special challenge if you had to park near them. My car is long and wide and I dreaded parking every night--I was there three days:/

My visit was actually March 2024 - however, dates to list on the menu stopped in October of 2024. I meant to write this review much sooner! My apologies. This was my first stop on a 3 week road trip to the MidWest. I had unexpected car trouble just 10 miles away from the ID/OR border. I called the hotel and was reassured that there was no issue with me being late! I did arrive approximately two hours later than planned and was exhausted. Front staff was very welcoming and helpful. I bought a TV dinner in the little shop by the desk. I thoroughly appreciated the welcome note in my room from the manager!! Bed was extremely comfortable and after a great night’s visit, I had a wonderfully complete breakfast and left on my trip. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a fellow traveler.

Noisy.. you can hear the semi trucks

I was traveling solo. The first room they put me in was unable to be locked from the inside. Both locks were broken, and you could clearly see marks on the door where it had been forced open repeatedly. I had no idea what was going on or why that was, but I requested a room change. The front desk guy was super apologetic and switched me to another room immediately. Unfortunately the second room was filthy. Neither of the sheets on the beds had been changed. They were both covered in hair and some sort of brown stains that were either blood or feces. It was almost midnight at this point and I just wanted to sleep, so I stripped the sheets off and used my sleeping bag on the mattress. It was a total waste of $$$. I should have just stayed at a campground. Don't stay here it is not clean or safe!

Shuttle operation was limited…..no early morning shuttle.

A lot nicer than expected

The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The property is about what you would expect for the price. There is a small workout room, and a pool and hot tub, plus a good business center.The furniture around the refrigerator could use some dusting. Beds were comfortable with a variety of pillows. One side of the building directly faces the highway, which creates quite a bit of noise. They did leave earplugs on the nightstand, which was helpful!

Friendly staff, clean, convenient and things went great.
