Kimpton Hotel Vintage Seattle by IHG

Good central location for Seattle sight seeing. Easy walking distance to several public transit options, including the Line 1 Train to and from SeaTac Airport, and the buses. Short walk to Pike’s Place Market. In-Hotel restaurant had yummy breakfast options. King size bed and pillows were comfy. Very friendly staff. Good insulation to in the rooms (we had a room right next to the elevator and never heard it opening). Only cons were the shower pressure could be a little better, and the tissues weren’t great. So not really many cons at all. Very nice place.

The Happy Hour is wonderful for meeting new people, like the morning coffee service BUT would have preferred our own ability to make a cup of bedtime tea.

Hotel overall was nice. Andy at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Only complaint was a rather loud clicking noise from the closet vent that last about 30 seconds every time the air kicked on…very noticeable at night when trying to sleep.

Lower floor room great, coffee/water in reception and even a free glass of wine between 5-6pm are nice touches.

3 night stay, prepaid for breakfasts on booking. Queued for breakfast every morning. On final day (and needing to leave for airport), we waited for 1 hour only then having received a coffee with breakfast still having not arrived. Walked out (decided to get brekkie at airport) and asked for a refund only to be offered $50 when in fact 2 X breakfast vouchers = $60 value, we got the full refund in the end with very little apologies. Waiting on staff are nice and rushing around like mad people as the hotel is just cutting corners by not having enough breakfast staff when the hotel so busy.
