Argyle Hotel Southern Highlands

The property was in a good location, easy check in, and simple.

I understand it is a budget hotel, but our room absolutely reeked of cigarettes, and 2 of the 3 shared bathrooms are in very dire state, times are tough but for the price for one night i think some renovations are warranted ( the one renovated bathroom is awesome). The room itself and bedding felt very clean apart from the smell and we couldn’t get the window quite open.

Convenient location and value

The room window is ‘rotted’ in need of serious repair to return open/close functionality. En-suite could do with a hook or two to hang towels while showering. Needs a toilet brush. Taps need repair to stop dripping. Basically the rooms need basic maintenance.
