Clarion Pointe Alachua - Gainesville Area

Great location to many local springs, updated rooms with nice pool and bbq grills, continental breakfast with great coffee, and super friendly owners & staff.

We booked with the High Springs Inn for a few nights in mid June 2025. The Inn is undergoing renovations which Peter, the owner, made us aware of prior to our check in in the afternoon and upon arrival, gave us our choice of rooms and locations. Carline, his wife set up breakfast and runs the desk in the morning. They are wonderful people, very honest and scrupulous in their dealings. They treat you like family and are kind to all that come through the door. The facility is located close to the numerous springs in the area and is a great place to stay while in the area.

Staff member walked into our room without knocking which was kind of unnerving and the room wasn't very clean but side from that everything else was pretty good

The full renovation was still ongoing. Our room was almost a 100% brand new. In fact, our only complaint was the strong "new" smell. We almost never stay at motels, but we read the recent positive reviews and took a chance. Glad we did! This motel lacks curb appeal, but once inside, you'll almost forget that it's a motel. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We arrived very late, well after midnight. Who ever heard of a motel where the staff comes out at that time of night as you're checking into your room to make sure everything is okay?! We didn't have a chance to use the pool -- yes this motel has a pool -- but I went to look at it, and it looked good. Breakfast was nothing amazing, but I've seen worse at more expensive places. The waffle maker -- like almost everything else there - looked to be brand new. Go! You will not be disappointed.

I just stayed for one night while visiting my cousin. Staff was very friendly room was clean, I would definitely stay again.
