Lage und Parkmöglichkeit ok, es war sauber. die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war holprig.

das Zimmer war sehr klein und missverständlich ausgewiesen. genau da lag das Problem, weil wir davon ausgingen, es gäbe 2 getrennte Betten im Zimmer. Aber es gab nur ein kleines Doppelbett, sehr ungeeignet für 2 grosse erwachsene Männer, die sich kein Bett teilen wollen. Es gab dann noch eine Art Klappsofa - extrem unbequem, womit das Zimmer dann völlig ausgefüllt war.. Ausserdem wurden überall Räucherstäbchen verbrannt im Haus, was ich ätzend finde..! Dafür dann 225 $ ist einfach viel zu viel..

The Blue House was terrific. It's location is a bit unique since it is in a residential area with no other visible hotels/overnight accommodations. It's a bit more like a B& B hotel, without the breakfast. The gentleman who greeted us was very pleasant and quick to show us around and to our room with appropriate instructions. The room we were given is small but great for a single person or couple. There are nice little touches inside from decor to soda/water/beer in the art deco style fridge (for reasonable purchase prices) and toothbrush/paste wrapped in the bathroom in case you happen to overlook bringing some. While the location is off of the JFK Causeway and not along Collins Avenue, etc. in downtown Miami Beach it is a little off the beaten path but still a very quick ride (assuming traffic isn't bad) into the heart of Miami Beach. There are also restaurants within walking distance and/or a quick drive. The overnight price was also quite reasonable by Miami Beach standards. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

There was some police activity in the immediate neighborhood when we drove back after a concert in the evening (around 10:30 pm). It is unclear why but we heard nothing after returning to our room. The place itself and our room were just fine otherwise.

I think the location is its best and cleanness.

The area is fabulous! Alot to do in North Miami. The manager was wonderful. I accidentally double booked a room there and at Sarasota. He helped me get rid of the room there and rebook it on the day i needed without a fee or hassle. Very rare in today's world.
