Proximity to the station and comfy bed. Decent breakfast.

Out of date cereals, not good WiFi reception.

The food was good value

There is very little noise insulation between the pub and rooms above.

Free parking and the hotel was warm.

We stayed at the Narborough Arms for two nights, Thursday and Friday, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. The hotel was extremely loud throughout the night, making it very difficult to sleep and completely ruining what should have been a relaxing stay. On top of this, when we went for breakfast at 8:15am, it had still not opened despite being advertised as starting at 8am. The mugs provided for our tea were unclean, which was both unpleasant and unhygienic. The food itself was also poor and not enjoyable. Overall, the stay fell far below expectations, and we left feeling frustrated and disappointed. We would not choose to stay here again. I would like this to be escalated further. All staff great, especially Joe who helpfully changed our room to what we thought would be a quieter one. The food was good except one of our chicken pies was only just warm. (My husband did not want to co plain at the time). Our room, above the dart board, was very noisy - we had asked to be moved from kne above the kitchen because of a noisy extractor fan. For us the bed, although a double, seemed small - but it was as described. Probably our expectations were too high.
