Hotel Plaza de la Paz

I drove from Madrid Airport and arrived Haro by evening. However, after trying for over half an hour, I was still unable to get to Plaza de la Paz (it was found out later that vehicle access to Plaza de la Paz was prohibited). I was exhausted and decided to leave the car on a side street and walked to the Hotel. Javier was so helful that he drove my car to the back street nearby, unloaded my lugguages and carried them to my room. There was another problem, there was only meteted parking spaces available near the hotel and we planned to walk to the wineries the other morning for whole days' wine tasting. Javier even offered to insert the meter regularly for us which was apparently not his duty. Apart from the above superb services, the Hotel location was very central; very quiet at night; Restaurant El Sol for breakfast was only 2 minutes' walk from the Hotel entrance and Restaurant Terete (famous for roast lamb) was 4 minutes walk at the back of the Hotel. The wineries were about 15 to 20 minutes walk away across the river...you don't have to take the risk of drunk driving for wine tasting.

I stayed in this new boutique hotel in the central plaza in Haro. I was with a group of friends who were staying in a different hotel. My room was top of the house facing onto the plaza. It was very quiet at night even though the plaza was busy. The room was clean fresh and everything worked. It was ideal for a short visit where I spent most of my time outdoors. Car parking was difficult as the garage is a 5 minute walk away. The wine tasting was super

Really great hotel. Right on the main square of the old town (casco viejo). We visited October 2019 and they said it had been renovated/reformed 6 months ago. Our room was so clean and new it looked as though we were the first "inhabitants". Immaculately clean. Huge comfortable bed. We had a room on the fourth floor overlooking the square (Plaza de la Paz) and it was a wonderful view, with the square below and the hills/mountains beyond. Didn't hear any noise from outside - it's a small town anyway so not raucous crowds of people. Many bars nearby for paseo/tapas crawl. Ideal location for visiting the bodegas - the "station quarter" is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. We went to Cune bodega - excellent! Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel had a great location and was clearly newly remodeled. Great value for the money— room was 4* for sure and he reception desk staff gentleman was kind and helpful

I’m almost too afraid to review this new hotel. It was sooo good We wanted to stay on. But couldn’t cancel our next place ! Right in the centre. Parking 4 mins walk away. Bit tight for big car.. 😂. Big comfortable rooms. Have room 102. Or 3rd floor 302 if similar. You get balcony doors. Lovely place. On the square.

Awesome place, the room was bigger than expected and its location is awesome.

Great hotel, very comfortable reasonably priced friendly reception staff. Room was very well equipped though kettle/ tea coffee in the room would be nice. Parking is a little bit a walk especially with luggage and quite expensive but otherwise excellent hotel

The hotel is located right at the main square and next to all the tapa bars. Really good location. Free parking available a short walk from the hotel. The staff is really friendly and ready to help -- we couldn't find the parking and the guy accompanied us in our car. The room was clean, modern and had everything we needed.

Hotel modern and very comfortable in the city centre of Haro Close to tapas restaurants.Though, it is very quite. This hotel is only 5 months old and room are very spacious. Very clean. Receptionist very friendly and gave us great advice for where to eat and visit.
