Hampton Inn & Suites Charlotte/Pineville

The room smelled a bit musty and the surface areas were sticky, one and done.

The facility was filthy the rooms were nasty. The hallway smelt horrible . My faucet was broken and moving from side to side . Staff was not pleasant I’ve stayed at a Hampton before and this particular one was very disappointing.! This facility was soo unpleasant and stink I checked out at 7 that morning . If I would’ve known this facility would be that filthy I would have booked else where. And I let it be known to staff too.

Overall our stay here was fine , our hotel room needed a little more time when it came to cleaning. We saw a few random pieces of dog food around the room. Counter tops were sticky , small things like that.

Good location if have a car. Very good & pleasant service form employees. Adequate breakfast, but did enjoy 24-hour coffee etc.

Staff was very pleasant. Not crazy about barn doors on bathrooms but I get that they are trendy.

I checked in on a Thursday and stayed until the following Monday. During this time, not once did my room get any maid service despite the maids knowing I was in that room. Yes I could have notified the front desk but why should I have to in the first place. The complimentary breakfast was limited and to be honest, the hot selections were not exactly appetizing, especially the sliced pieces of sausage swimming in a vat of grease! The location was good for the purpose of my visit but that’s about all.

I still find it hard to believe that this is a Hilton Hotel. It was disgusting. The smell in our room was horrible, the paint was coming off the walls, the smoke detector was tan because it was so dirty. When we checked in at 11pm there were people sleeping on the benches in the dining area and 4 drunk people talking very loudly in the same area. I would like to give it zero stars if I could.
