Disappointing

The noise! it's directly in the flight path of the local airport, so heavy plane noise until 11pm. It's also a few blocks from the train tracks and when the train goes through it blasts it's horn several times. The train goes through at all hours of the day and night, so literally woken up every hour throughout the night.

We liked nothing.

Like nothing. We got a bad feeling as soon as we pulled into the parking lot and it was justified as soon as we walked in the lobby. We turned around and left. The girl behind the desk seemed nice enough but the fact that she had to tell people checking in that there was no drinking outside, no parties and NO DOING DRUGS was enough to make us leave. It also smelt horrible in the lobby. Can’t describe it but it wasn’t good. Sketchy customers. Just didn’t feel safe. And no, it wasn’t just me. I was with my boyfriend and he felt exactly the same way and was like we are so getting out of here.

The location was good.

Noisy, and room location made you uneasy. Didn't feel entirely safe. Not very good house insulation.

The bed was comfirtable. There was hot water.

The room was old. The box spring below the mattress was in what appeared to be its original packaging - thick plastic that protruded out on all sides of the bed. There was just one cup (paper/styrofoam) in the room. There were insufficient towels for two people, and they were thin. When I unfolded a bath towel, a piece of purple plastic fell out (like the kind that surrounds a feminine hygeine pad). There was another person's hair in the bathroom. The breakfast hot bar had an "out of order" sign on it.
