Pierhouse Bed & Breakfast

Very quiet and great location. Bed was extremely comfortable. Use of kitchen was nice. Able to make small lunch for beach. And the pool was great for chilling out

Wonderful views and location. Close to several restaurants and shops, and across the street from the Pier. Love the breakfast and happy hour selections.

Bed on 3rd floor was extremely hard! Water pressure in shower was not the greatest.

Location was great. Easy to access beach and the pier, and an easy walk to a few restaurants and shops. Room and common areas were clean and easily accessible.

Parking proved rather difficult since the house was fully rented. A full size pickup truck parked in the driveway (I have no idea how they did without hitting my car or the fence, etc.), trapping me in. It took longer for me to inch out of my spot than it did to drive to pick up the pizza we had for dinner. I'd highly recommend just parking on the street to avoid this. In my particular room, lighting is horrible. A lamp or additional lighting would help, especially when sharing a room with family or a child who is ready for bed when the parent wants to read, scroll social media, etc. I guess I also missed the part where there might be pets on property. I was unprepared for the whining and barking of dogs (both big and small), when owners left them while they went out for dinner, etc. I've stayed in bed and breakfasts before (and usually with an actual host on site), but this experience was definitely different.

We would like to express our dissatisfaction with the hygiene conditions during our stay. Unfortunately, we found cockroaches in the sink at night, which led us to avoid breakfast. Additionally, the carpet in our room was not clean, and the pillows had an unpleasant greasy smell. We hope these issues will be resolved for the well-being of future guests.
