Hotel Kastoria in Kastoria City

Nice hotel clean friendly staff the only reason I give 4 is because the rooms are to small when you have suitcases is really hard to walk around but is a really nice and a small parking place thank you

The hotel is very close to the old city but with better important advantages- it is on flat base with easy access and not on a steep road of the old city hill and since this flat base is on the promenade level and with no view interference you can enjoy the view of the lake. I walked up the hill and I was scared by the steep and narrow roads for those houses and locations higher than the lake level. The local inhabitants are used for it but it is not my preference. Our room had a wonderful view at the 2nd floor. But even though street wires were located at the lower part of view I recommend to take 3rd floor room for better view of lake. The room key is still an old style and less charging sockets. For the view, its short distance from old city ancient monasteries, being on the lake promenade and the reasonable price- I find it as a highly recommended hotel. The parking is in the nearby promenade street near the hotel. I asked for fresh vegetables for breakfast and tomatoes were set on my table. For dinner and lunch I can recommend on the Nostalgy restaurant about 400 hundred meters from the hotel located on the same lake promenade with lake view and very delicious food. My general score is 9.0.

Hotel Kastoria , is a great Hotel, it has large rooms with a little balcony overlooking the lake, room was clean and comfortable , for breakfast there was a large array of cereal , breads , eggs bacon , juice etc and some great coffee , the hotel also has a lift , ( so no lugging heavy cases up loads of stairs ) a nice little bonus , a short pretty walk to town , with plenty of affordable eateries on the way

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights only since we were very limited in time frames. However we spend good time there. The rooms are not that big but you have everything you need: TV, small fridge, shower/toilet etc. TV showed only one channel but we didn;t watch it anyway. Who needs a TV here at all when you see such a beautiful landscapes???!!! Breakfasts were very tasty! Thanks to the kitchen staff! I really liked Greek yogurt with peaches - absolutely delicious!!! A very special THANKS TO TOULA Simaioforidou , the reception girl, very friendly and nice! She gave us a map of Kastoria, showed a really good taverna, answered all our questions about this region :) The owner of the hotel have his own winery, so we had a chance to try his wine - red, white and grappa. Well, we bought it! A nice gift set of 2 bottles costs 12 EU as I remember. They also have a very nice terrace at the lake so you can drink coffee watching pelicans and seagulls. We really enjoyed that hotel and place. And you know what? This is the first place in Greece I want to visit again - they have so many things to see, and I think 1 week will be OK for this beautiful place. Not less!

This hotel is on an amazing position, on the lake. The hotel is a type of old fashion italian style, very pleasant, we can imagine to be on the lake of guarda in the north of Italy. The employees are very easy going ans I recommande to stay some days here. It is really a good place to live.

My room had a balcony with a beautiful view of the lake and the birdlife. There was good wifi but the plugs aren't well positioned for charging. The room had been used by smokers but I guess that's a feature in this part of the world. The location is good with easy access to town, restaurants and the walk around the peninsula. The staff were friendly.

The Hotel lays just in front of the lake in the northern part of the city. It has an easy approach to all the cities byzantine and post-byzantine monuments and is very close to the cities famous taverns too. Good breakfast!

Without saying a lot, the price is High only because of the view (nice view of the lake) but Services, room and everything else is average and below (one plug in a whole room). There are many hotels in Kastoria with same price and perfect Services. Sorry but it is not enough to have only a nice view of the lake

The hotel situated on the northern side of the Kastoria peninsula the view of the lake is one to remember. I was unlucky to be in a room that was in the middle of the hotel, so I had to look at a wall. Other members of my traveling group were lucky as they had a room with lake view. The room was quite spacious, a little old, but comfortable enough. The only thing I didn't like was the small shower, even a normal sized person as me cannot easily move around. The staff was friendly, the breakfast very good, so I would certainly recommend this hotel to other people coming this way.

Good pricing for what you get, staff is super kind, get the junior suite if you have a child with you, its nice and spacey. Lake view rooms. I wouldn't spend a week of vacations there but for a weekend is more than decent.
