Travelodge by Wyndham Bloomington

It was very economical, it is definitely older, but no insects or mice or anything in my room, which was clean, place was quiet, I could walk several blocks on one safe street to Indiana University. I paid like 65 bucks a night so I appreciate what I got. They serve a little breakfast in the morning (waffles, bagles, cereal, juice, coffee) included. I stayed almost a week and encountered no problems.

The location is very good. The staff were nice and helpful.

The floors - carpet and bathroom were not clean. They were not cleaned during our stay.

Property was clean and smelled fantastic.

Why are the beds so high. It's difficult to get in and out of bed!

Our room itself was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful

1. The security door from the outside leading to our room did not latch. 2. Dirt all over the entryway floor 3. Doors were not as secure as they should have been. 4. There was a broken door with missing doorknob leading from the office to the rooms. 5. We did not feel safe.

Not one thing felt comfortable

The first thing I noticed was the cigarette smell as soon as you walk in the building. Then I spoke to the front desk and I LOVED him. Then we get to the room and it smells like weed. The floor had wet spots and grout everywhere. I reported it to the front desk , they apologized but did nothing. Offered nothing. The next morning the male room service knocked on our door at 8:00-8:30 timeframe for trash. I told him NO three times and he still proceeded to my room. Watch the video footage. Half of the outlets didn't work, toilet had to be rewo4ked, and poor lighting in toom.

The check in was great
