A 5-10 walk from the train station. So location is very central. The rooms are of a decent size and very clean. The room has also the necessary amenities. I like the key to open the doors rather than the key cards. That's a nice touch. It does everything well but nothing exceptional. Breakfast options were very thin and could be better.

This is very good hotel with very profesional stuff. Food is ok, normal, nothing special. My room was very clean and they are cleaning every day. It is very near to Kanayama station and there is some nice bar, restoran where you can spend some time.

Location is perfect, very near to Kanayama station. Lots of restaurants and minimart nearby. Old style interior but good amenities. Price was fair, service was okay but the bed was a little bit too hard and area under the bed looks like it needs to be cleaned more frequently.

The room is nice and comfortable. The comfort room is clean and well maintained. They have small TV, I think they should upgrade to a bigger one. The lamp needs a bit of dusting, but it's still ok. The staffs understands english and some of them can speak english. The food for breakfast is good! They have clean canteen area. During December, it rains so if you forgot your umbrella, you can ask the hotel to lend you one.

This is a good transit hotel, if you're only staying for a night or two. It's not luxurious (even though it's allegedly a 4 star hotel). The rooms are extremely small, but very clean and well arranged to not feel too cramped. The bathrooms have Japanese style hot tubs, and full-size Shiseido amenities. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with a large variety of vegetables, salads, fruits, breads, Western and Japanese foods. It's a very convenient and nice hotel close to the metro and train stations in Nagoya.

Positives: Staff very welcoming and helpful. Clean lobby / reception area. Rooms clean and bathroom stocked with toiletries. Located walking distance from the train station. Negatives: Rooms are small. Stench of tobacco. Lack of in room hot/cold drinks. Free WiFi is slow. Located in the Town centre.

I was scheduled to stay at the Cypress Garden Hotel for four days, but my plans changed and I added two extra days to my stay. This hotel was so accommodating. The staff were helpful, kind, and sincere. Breakfast each day was wonderful. My room was clean. Even on days when I didn't want housekeeping, a bag of fresh towels was left for me to have. The hotel is so close to the Kanayama Station (a main transit hub). Inside the station is a tourist information centre with the most helpful staff too. There is a mall on the other side of the station with lots of shops and food choices. Nagoya is the best place in Japan.

Very nice location, just a few steps away from Kanayama station and many commercial amenities: there's a Starbucks nearby, restaurants all over the place, and a nearby mall. Rooms are pretty typical for Japan, the breakfast buffet was average but decent, wifi is strong everywhere.

The hotel is beautiful and very clean, including breakfast with buffer style with enough food and soft drinks. It is also very near Kanayama station with many nearby restaurants. My single room is quite small but it is popular in Japan.
