Tru by Hilton Idaho Falls

There was a $75 non-refundable fee for a pet, which is almost 3x as much as other hotels/motels. When I asked staff why it was so expensive, he said it was because they shampooed the carpet after every customer. Here's the thing though, THERE WAS NO CARPET. The room had linoleum floor. When I mentioned this to staff later, he just stared blankly at me. Gave zero fs So annoying that I had to pay $84.75 in addition to the $188 that I paid for one night. If I wanted to pay damn near $300 for a room for one night I would've booked a 4 star hotel, not some bootleg, Ross version of a hotel. Trash.

They where great and breakfast was fun

Great location by the river walk. Clean, comfy and friendly staff. Breakfast and the market were convenient too. My kids loved it!

Rooms are stark, not warm and welcoming. Bathroom tile grout was dirty. Bed linens were worn. Back patio looks out to the back of another hotel and its not a good view.

Please check my exit billing. My visa card has you charging me for two nights..Aug 3 and 4. Please correct your error. Thank you

We hadn’t stayed in a Hilton Tru hotel before after a bit of travelling around I wanted to book somewhere nice for one night after our flight into Idaho Falls, & before we moved on again. I’ll be honest I wasn’t sure what to expect from a Tru. It has comfortable beds and rooms looked newly decorated and quite modern, but it was very basic and small compared to other Hilton Hotels. Breakfast was ok, and it has a snack counter at reception that you can buy chips from, but aside from that there’s not really any other facilities. It was also pretty noisy from 6am, but that’s probably because we were given a room right next to the lifts. The online choose your room and use your phone as a key just wouldn’t work for us either, hence why we perhaps ended up with a room near the lift. Ok, but not really what we expected from a Hilton Hotel and probably wouldn’t stay at one of these again.

The room had light bulbs that were out. It was missing items normally offered in other hotels. The mattress wasn’t comfortable. It had a weird set up in the room.

Beautiful area and safe to walk.
