"Surprise!"

The LaQuinta is in the center of downtown three blocks out of the French Quarter. The rooms are lovely, however there are a few surprises. 1. Parking is not free. 2. There is a $150 deposit for damages. The good news is you don't break anything you get it back. The staff I have encountered are the nucest and most helpful individuals. The room is nice it lacks one thing, the ability to provide heat. AC is in abundance and COLD!!!.

"Photos don’t match what you really get!!!!"

The photos of the property on your website makes this hotel look nice and comfortable. When you get there it’s sitting behind an abandoned building. The hotel looks very outdated and not somewhere I would ever book to stay. Since this was last minute I had no choice. Even the lady checking me in was very nice and said this is probably not what you’re looking for. The carpet in the room was old and the couch was dirty. I did not feel comfortable staying there so ended up leaving.

"Decent place to stop for a quick night"

Beds were clean and comfortable. Judging by the stack of mattresses by the dumpster, beds were new, which was nice. Shower was HOT 🔥 Room was sufficient for a cheap quick overnight stop.

Overall property in a poor condition. Elevator was broken. Front desk person was not welcoming. Air conditioning didn’t work. Room had a weird smell like smoking even though i chose non smoking room. Breakfast was terrible. Very bad experience overall. Never going back.
