"Great weekend stay"

All was well! We were in town for volleyball tournament & location was perfect distance from event center! The Texas Steakhouse attached was an added bonus!!! Jackie, Amanda, & Masono were great & made my stay most pleasurable!

Great overnight stay, nice staff, clean room, soft beds, quiet location, restaurants near by, not far from I95. Plus, hot fresh cookies!

"Not what we expected - no hot water - no housekeeping"

Not a fan of our 4-night stay at this hotel and wouldn't stay here again as long as there are other options. The staff was nice but there was no hot water for showers, so we either just did not take showers or we suffered through freezing water. The room was never cleaned during stay. Even after talking with the front desk about housekeeping and being told they would send somebody to our room, nobody ever came, and we had to get towels and toilet paper from the front desk.

We always stay at the Doubletree in Rocky Mount when we are visiting family in the area. The property is clean and the rooms are comfortable. Unlike most (all) other Doubletree’s they do not have free coffee so if you don’t want to make the in room coffee you have to purchase it at the front desk.

"Perfect location with friendly staff and not completely cleaned room."

Location

Room wasn’t properly cleaned. Found used rags on the shower curtain. Found more used rags in the closet area. Was not cleaned good overall.
