I have stayed at hundreds of hotels over the course of my career as a travel agent and on personal trips, and I can truly say I was bowled over by the standard of this hotel. The service was attentive and respectful, never intrusive, and always anticipating our needs. And this goes for everyone on staff, from the excellent General Manager, Mayan Dhawan, to the doorman and spa staff. We enjoyed time in the spa (best haircut I've ever had), pampering massages, and a manicure. The hotel atmosphere is calm, peaceful, and luxurious. But overall, it was the attention to detail that really impressed me.

Obłędny pobyt. Najlepszy hotel w jakim byłem do tej pory! Naprawdę doskonale traktują gościa, indywidualnie i po królewsku. Serwują tak doskonałe śniadania, że będę musiał przejść na dietę. Zaspokoją najbardziej wybredną osobę, że już nie wspomnę o dietach eliminacyjnych jak bezglutenowa, wegetariańska itd, wszystko zostanie uwzględnione. Piękny ogród, piękne otoczenie, świetnie restauracje i ludzie, których zapamiętam! Nie do opisania!

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our most recent trip. We did really enjoy our stay, but we’ve given a 4* due to a few small things. The hotel itself is set in lush grounds and we really liked the style of the hotel. It felt quite traditional but with modern twists. The room we stayed in was a luxury balcony room. We had a nice view of the beautiful trees in the garden. The room was clean and comfortable, but was definitely a bit dated. Our main gripe was the lights and plug sockets didn’t all seem to work, and there was a huge tangle of wires underneath my bedside table which was not really up to the luxury hotel standard. The public areas were well-appointed and we really liked the vibe, but most were incredibly busy. We couldn’t get a table at the polo club twice during our stay, and we had to sit in the lobby where the bar staff weren’t allowed to serve us drinks. There may have been conferences / work events going on, because when we dined in Lapis on our first night there were large tables of 10+ guests and every table was filled. The food was wonderful but it felt a bit more like a food court due to how busy it was. On our arrival we had requested a table at Rim Naam on our second night, but this booking hadn’t been made. Staff were able to fit us in, but we did have to do quite a bit of chasing for this to happen - again not what we would expect from a 5* luxury hotel. Food was excellent though! Breakfast was lovely - we sat outside in the garden and it was very relaxing. Try the local dishes! Thanks to Akshar specifically for his excellent service. The location seemed very good for sightseeing and local access. Walking from the hotel the metro stop is very close by and we were able to get to lots of places very easily by using this. The only issue regarding location is that the hotel is a long way from the airport. It took us 1 hour 30 minutes to get to the hotel (at peak time in the evening) and 50 minutes back (very early morning). I understand the metro system may make this easier with a direct metro route to the airport, but it’s not built yet. Overall we did really enjoy our stay, but we didn’t feel it was quite up to the standard we would expect from a luxury hotel. The Oberoi Bengaluru appeared to be heavily catered to non-residents, weddings and conferences, but I feel a luxury hotel should never feel ‘full’ and you should always have enough dining/drinking/seating options without it seeming busy (which has been our experience of other Oberoi properties). Only then do you get the benefit of calm relaxation that comes with the price point.

Our recent four-day stay at The Oberoi Bengaluru was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality of the entire staff. Everyone was incredibly polite, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile, which made our stay even more comfortable and memorable. The food was absolutely fabulous — every meal was beautifully prepared and consistently delicious. The property itself is elegant, peaceful, and impeccably maintained, creating a perfect atmosphere to relax and unwind. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special. We left with wonderful memories and look forward to visiting again soon. Highly recommended for anyone looking for luxury combined with genuine hospitality.
