The Hyatt Place Opryland absolutely crushed it during our two night stay (12/19/2025-12/21/2025) this last weekend. We were in town for an appointment at the Vanderbilt Eye Institute, so we were already on edge and most likely didn't have the bandwidth to deal with any nonsense or sub-par accommodations. Well, thank goodness we chose Hyatt Place. From the moment we arrived and checked-in until we loaded the car to head back home, my wife and I felt like every aspect of our stay was truly top-notch. Chad checked us in, and he was there the majority of the weekend. Within the first 5 minutes of speaking with Chad, it was more than obvious he loved his job and would do anything in his power to guarantee our stay was far above satisfactory. I'm not exaggerating when I say every time I ran into Chad, he asked how I was, how my stay was progressing, if there was anything he could do to make my time at rhe Hyatt exceptional, AND if we needed any insider/local tips about whatever part of Opryland we intended to enjoy. Additionally, if Chad wasn't around, Jared provided just as many services and personally touches to our entire stay that we just haven't experienced anywhere else. The incredible staff alone are plenty reason to stay here during your next trip to Opryland, but every other aspect of the hotel is just as inviting and wonderful. Our room was superb. Clean, modern, spacious and quiet. The breakfast is an unrelenting bonanza of everything your Gram Gram used to make for you during Summer Break before your Mom found out you were pre-diabetic and had been hiding Count Chocula Cereal under your bed for secret night-time eatings because the sad thoughts seem to be less intrusive when you're snout deep into a box of Zebra Cakes and Captain Crunch Oops All Berries. I didn't check my blood sugar a single time after breakfast while there, and I haven't lost a foot or gone into coma at all. I truly can't think of a single negative comment to make about our entire stay. I know how incredibly rare that is, but what genuinely surprises me the most is 99% of other lodging that can offer this kind of perfect stay cost AT LEAST 3 to 4 times what we paid to stay at the Hyatt. It was a PERFECT weekend, and it was a bargain. Thank you, Chad! Thank you., Jared!

Chad was very friendly and helpful. They had cake there and hot cocoa that they shared with guests as we came back to the hotel. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was good. Location is close to lots of Christmas attractions.

The bed was quite hard. The floors/carpet in elevator were dirty. There was something on back of couch in room and a stain on floor by door.

We were pleased with our overall stay. The room was spacious. We had a king bed and a nice sitting room. However the bathroom was tiny. A larger person would have had difficulty maneuvering in the bathroom. I am an average size person and I even had to move my legs to the side to get the door shut when I was sitting on the toilet. Moving on, the food was a larger buffet with lots of both cold and hot options. There was a large seating area. And finally they charged $8 to park.

The shower had mildew, and the shower/toilet room is very small. The door is difficult to close when you step into the room.
