Comfortable and clean

Construction in progress, no advance notice. Pool was closed because of indoor construction and that's the main reason we stayed here. Also the housekeeping came at 10:23 AM knocking onbthe door and again at 11:00. Checkout is 12 noon. Ive stayed here a few times in the past but this will be my last time at this hotel.

The Hyatt was under a total remodel we couldn’t even stay there. Thanks for letting us know Booking and the Hyatt suck. I had to spend a considerable more dollars to find a new place to stay. Ig you ever want my business again you need to send me $500

My recent stay at Hyatt Place Nashville/Opryland was on May 7 and 8, 2026. We booked two nights using 15,000 points and purchased an additional 2,000 points to complete our reservation. Upon arrival, we discovered that renovations had started earlier that week, and the front lobby had been temporarily relocated to a conference room at the back of the building. There was a large group of students with chaperones checking in at the same time, which made the process a bit hectic. When we finally reached the check-in desk, the staff member—Chad—was very friendly and apologetic about the lack of communication regarding the renovations. We appreciated Chad's efforts to address our concerns and his offer of 500 additional points as compensation for the disruption and the limited breakfast options. After check-in, we went to our room, which appeared somewhat dated but was generally acceptable. However, we noticed mold and mildew around the shower floor and walls, which was disgusting and very concerning. Proper cleaning between guests should prevent these issues, regardless of the hotel's age. The next morning, I encountered another maintenance issue when the faucet handle on the sink fell off while I was using it. Fortunately, I was able to reattach it, but it added to our frustrations. Breakfast was served as a "grab n go" setup in a narrow hallway by the elevator, due to the renovations. On both mornings, options were extremely limited—there were no bagels or muffins, and only a few hard-boiled eggs and some fruit cups available one day. Mostly, there was cereal, juice, and coffee. With so many guests staying at the hotel, I expected better stocked and more varied breakfast selections. In addition, when my husband went to see what was available, there were Hyatt staff members taking large quantities of what food was available for themselves. The breakfast was one of the reasons we chose this hotel and the lack of items resulted in us having to eat at a local restaurant. Additionally, I noticed a sign on the mirror stating, “Now accepting cashless tips” with a QR code for gratuity. code “Please scan here if you would like to leave gratuity”. I found this placement by a major hotel chain to be inappropriate. Lastly, the back parking lot was being used to throw out the old furniture and trash and several parking spots were coned off leaving little parking in the rear of the building. This was only our third stay at Hyatt Place, and it’s the second time we have experienced issues that were not communicated in advance. I strongly recommend that Hyatt communicates renovation schedules to guests before their arrival and ensures that rooms are thoroughly cleaned between guests. Improving breakfast offerings during renovation periods would also go a long way toward enhancing guest satisfaction.

We were not notified of the major construction project including the main lobby as well as the room renovation above our floor. We had to enter through the rear of the hotel. The free breakfast was temporarily located right outside the elevator in the narrow hall leading out the back door of the hotel. I observed the construction workers helping themselves to the cold buffet as they entered the elevator. The elevator failed one morning forcing us to use the stairs to the fourth floor carrying our breakfast in a grocery bag that was provided . We often had to wait for an open elevator because one of the two were being used to transport construction materials to the upper floors being renovated. We got by but had we known, we would have stayed somewhere else.

Do not stay here. It is not a Hyatt Place property, it's a rundown old hotel under major construction. Mattresses under the drive in, black plastic everywhere, rooms are dirty, nothing about this is a brand property.

The facility was under renovation and started working at 7am, very loud, not listed on website, elevator down, no breakfast very expensive

No shuttle to and from airport Renovations going on. Very loud and dusty Breakfast selection was poor. Zero outside space to enjoy nice weather.

Room was good

There was renovation work during the stay so continuous drilling were making so loud noise that couldn't stay in room. There is no prior information before booking.
