Losehill House Hotel & Spa

We really enjoyed our stay at Losehill House Hotel ,and made the most of the pool and hotub. The evening meal was exceptionally good and we look forward to returning.Our room was so comfortable and spotless.

I wanted a special stay for my birthday, and booked lunch together with a facial, and scalp massage. The food was fantastic, and the Snake Pass Sour cocktail even better. The spa facilities were small but pleasant. All the staff, but especially the younger ones, were friendly and welcoming. My room was very pretty but sadly over the kitchen so it was very noisy and smelt strongly of cooking; it would have been good to have had a warning about this as I'd have happily switched to a shower-only room for the sake of a quiet night's sleep. When I mentioned it at checkout I was cheerfully told thyat yes, it was a noisy room, so staff are aware of the issue.

We have stayed at Losehill House Hotel & Spa before and were very much looking forward to returning. It did not disappoint. We love the stunning location, the spa facilities (still miss the steam room) and the breakfast is phenomenal. Staff are all fantastic and little touches to make my partner’s birthday special were much appreciated.

Loosehill House is ideally located to explore the northern part of the Peak District, in particular to hike Mam Tor, as well as being close to Edale. The rooms are comfortable and the service is very friendly. The lounge and dining room have views over vast grounds and have a very calm atmosphere. The food is good and we liked the served breakfast (no buffet for once)!

We had a lovely peaceful night away. We had a lovely back massage and facial. Follow with a delicious meal. All the staff were friendly and helpful

Spa. Not so great

A stunning location, great food and service. What was missing for me was the personal touch, and attention to details to make the stay truly 5 star.

Just perfect! A beautiful and genuinely idyllic setting, gorgeous hotel and wonderful staff. We booked a half spa day which was brilliant from start to end. We did get lucky with a lovely sunny day and we were the only ones in the pool/ spa for nearly an hour. View from the outdoor jacuzzi was stunning and the pool was big enough to swim in. Massage by Tatiana (I think?) was one of the best over had, she was fantastic - thank you. Lunch pricey but lovely too. Definitely recommend and will return.
