The most amazing venue, the views are beautiful. The hotel is very well kept throughout and the breakfast was very nice, they cater well for vegetarians.

A very relaxing stay in a lovely hotel in gorgeous countryside. Very comfortable room, a great spa experience, a brilliant breakfast and a good evening meal. We woke up to a sunny day and walked directly from the hotel, up Lose Hill.

Wonderful location, incredible food & lovely staff and service. Only thing we thought would've made it even better was some loungers by the hot tub and on the grass as the weather was so great. We lay on the ground & still had a lovely time.

The service was impeccable, the rooms were beautifully appointed, and the overall atmosphere provided the perfect relaxing escape.The onsite restaurant operates at a remarkably high standard, serving exquisitely crafted dishes. Everything we tasted was truly phenomenal. As for the wellness facilities, they were certainly clean and peaceful, but the spa itself felt slightly underwhelming in terms of variety.

Unusually for us we had no plans for a location for taking a break. Our choice of Losehill was totally substantiated at all levels. We had a wonderful time at a wonderful hotel! Our room was bright and airy with magnificent views, well appointed and very comfortable. The food, wine etc was magnificent and the service levels from all members of staff was exemplary. I was totally underwhelmed by my experience, sadly, and if members of staff were feeling off colour and not their usual self - then that may be the reason for the lacklustre approach. I must admit I was not feeling very well when I arrived - so I lay on my bed for a while. There were some people in the hot tub directly below my room - making lots of noise. I went down later to see about some dinner- but no staff seemed to want to help me - so I just went back to my room. I slept fine - good bed and quiet. At breakfast I found, although the view was pleasant, and the food fine, that there was no friendly atmosphere created by the staff - it was all very routine with no personalities. I must mention an exception to the rule here - a lovely lady in Reception, Sally, was friendly and helpful - someone with the emotional intelligence to work with the general public - which sadly I found lacking within the other staff I encountered on this one occasion. I would not return - did not find it particularly luxurious or good value for money. I really felt that I had not arrived at the place that I seemed taken to when I looked online - it was most odd.

Spent one celebrating our wedding anniversary. From the excellent food to the friendly staff and the beautiful location, this turned out to be a celebration to remember. We spotted it last minute on the internet and it certainly lived to all the positive reviews. Well done Losehill - a real winner of a hotel!
