No review all was perfect

I had a delicious dinner on the screened in patio of the Lazy Goat Tavern. A propane heater warmed the area and the live band -,Shellhouse - was excellent. My server was Mahagani, and she provided excellent service.

Marissa was a great bar tender and a great host. Definitely want to visit again sometime soon! Love the tennis courts and will be back!

Nice hotel. Spa and pool were nice. One night stay before flyong out.

This "resort" is in need of an update. Bathrooms, beds and furnishings all dated and uncomfortable. Old style bath tub with plastic curtain circa 2000. We only ate at the Tavern once. Mediocre at best. Food not hot etc. Located about 20 minutes from downtown Burlington depending on traffic. A resort fee of $30/night/room left a lasting impression. We won't be back.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend.

The kitchen.

I was charged for fees that were not included in the originally quoted priced. I booked a room for 2 nights at $368 total. When I left I was charged nearly $500!! For extra fees??? This was called a resort and that is a strong word for a mere average hire with a pool and a gym. The bathroom was from 1975. The toilet did not function upon my arrival and the room looked like it was decorated by an 80 year old woman. In what way was this place a resort? In what way can you justify charging over $100 more for something I did not agree to for a Fenton resort fee and extra service charges??? Unreal nickel and diming for fraud.

We stayed 3 days. The staff was particularly helpful. The amenities in the room were perfect. There was convenient shopping nearby and we were close enough to Rte 289 to travel easily. The buildings and offerings are really spectacular. We were on an anniversary stay and felt so welcome. We were close enough to UVM to visit a granddaughter. The Lazy Goat Tavern was cozy and fun. Everything about the resort was very well done!

Very nice place booked on Expedia no one mentioned additional fees. Water took forever to get hot called desk they said we had to run at least 5 minutes to get hot water. Unfortunately Vermont is in middle of drought so not be thing.
