"Cozy but staff didn't match the ambience."

I loved the coziness of the hotel. Fire places, cute decor. Felt like going to Grandma's house.

I tried to make an appointment for the spa at the front desk and she had no idea how to do that and sent me to the spa to book. So I walked over and made my appointment. 30 min before my appointment the spa called and told me she had booked me at a time where there were no technicians and I could come back in two hours. At that point we had already planned the rest of the day so it didn't work out. It's hard to pay for a "resort and spa" when the spa portion is not fully functioning. Overall the staff was not very helpful and felt rude at times which did not match the ambience.

"The Junction is a hidden gem!"

Amazing Evening as always. The Junction never disappoints! Our server Leticia was incredibly attentive to our needs while giving us privacy we required for our anniversary dinner.

Attended a Holiday Party at the Essex. The facility is excellent and the food was outstanding. Spent the night and the room was very good. Really enjoyed our stay at the Essex!
