No working shower and the room was not clean

The staff were considerate and friendly, the location was convenient for my travel needs.

The hotel is filthy. The sheets have visible stains and dirt on them, the bathrooms are also visibility dirty. When I first stayed there it was sub-par, we saw the stains later that night and removed those sheets. I did notify the front desk. On my return trip heading home I had my daughters dog and found out that they place you on a different side of of the hotel. I didn't think it could get worse, but that side needs to be condemned. As soon as you hit the hallway it smells of urine and dogs and the carpet is stained and filthy. It was almost 11pm when we arrived and I was tired from driving and didn't feel like looking elsewhere, but we had to change rooms twice due to the unclean conditions. In the final room we found a old salad in the fridge ... smh! The air quality was horrible that we couldn't wait to leave. In our haste my daughter left her childhood stuffed animal and I called the hotel 3 days straight with no one turning him in. I believe they threw him away because of my complaints or he may still be in the room since they clearly don't clean them that well!!
