Nicely refurbished property, good for walking to town centre. We hit it 'off-season' so main restaurant was closed. Reported bathroom fault to staff on first morning - nothing was done about it - disappointing service. Otherwise good stay; imagine in high season it would be packed and noisy!

"Tired hotel "

The carpet was dirty in the room. Also shower was blocked with hair and so flowed very slowly. Mattress on the bed was not good quality and so awoke with a backache. The hotel was well situated but tired.

"I would happily return."

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room. Bar meals very good. Breakfast excellent. The bedroom was hot even in October … no air-conditioning. However, we were able to open the window and fortunately our room was not overlooking a busy street. Took about 15 minutes to walk to the bus station and main shopping area.

"Very happy!"

Room and breakfast really good. The hotel is very close to the town centre without being IN the town centre. Staff very friendly and helpful. I have stayed here before and was happy to stay here for this trip and I will certainly stay here again.

"Overall nice hotel with a couple of tweaks needed"

Positive experiences - most of the staff (with one notable exception) were helpful with specific requests related to our child and his requirements. The beds were comfy and the room spacious. Downsides include abysmal (lack of) water pressure for the shower and a lack of consideration regarding refunds when we cut short our stay.

"Lovely Base"

The Hotel was an excellent base to explore Jersey from - staff went out of their way to be helpful and the hotel had a lovely ambience. The room was comfortable and the buffet breakfast was a great way to start the day.

"Reasonable place to stay in St Helier"

This hotel is set back from the town centre which is 10 to 15 minutes walk. It is a quite old hotel and the bedrooms are something of a rabbit warren with lots of stairs. If that is a problem for you then contact the hotel to make sure you get an accessible room. We only ate in the hotel for breakfast for which there was a good selection of food items. Be sure to get a guest discount voucher. The bedroom we were given was quite small but adequate. The bed was comfortable and there is plenty of hot water. The hotel has free wifi.
