Hyatt Regency Houston West

When I entered the room, I was shocked. There were small rocks on the sofa, which made no sense and showed that the room was not cleaned properly. The mini fridge was not working and the TV also did not turn on. It felt like no one checked the room before giving it to a guest. I requested shampoo and towels through the app, but nothing arrived. There was no response or follow up. It made me feel ignored as a guest. Also, the hot water was not really hot, so even taking a shower was uncomfortable. The food was very disappointing. At breakfast, the pancakes were very rubbery and hard to eat. The bacon was too hard and painful to chew. The coffee tasted like water and only had a weak coffee smell. For lunch, I ordered a burger. The meat did not taste fresh at all. It felt like frozen meat and was very hard and dry. It was difficult to swallow. The bread was clearly very old and not acceptable to serve. Overall, this experience was very poor. Many things were not working, service was slow or missing, and the food quality was very bad. I would not recommend this hotel to others.

We had a medical emergency and were unable to make it to the hotel. Mr. Amir, the manager, assisted us over the phone with the cancellation process with great care and respect. We will definitely reserve our next stay there and look forward to thanking him and his staff in person. Thank you, Amir!

It was clean

I stayed 25-28 and my room was never cleaned. I informed the front desk each day and the assured me that it would be cleaned but it never was cleaned. I had to request for new towels.

Beautiful hotel. Excellent food. Quiet and calming atmosphere. I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the common areas were. The Cafe on the Lake was fantastic. The fitness room was clean and well appointed.

Flea bag motel literally. I was bitten all over my ankles by fleas it has been the most insane experience i have ever had. You have to REQUEST a fridge the one in the room is decorative and the request is first come first serve. The water takes 3-5 mins to heat up for a shower.No wash clothes,no clean towels, rude front desk, list goes on & on

This isn’t a four star hotel. The room had no refrigerator and I had medication that needed to be cooled. There was a cooler in the room but a sign that said call the front desk if you need a fridge. We called but no one answered. We went downstairs and first we were offered to put the meds in the freezer at the desk. That made no sense and then we were told that housekeeping could bring a fridge. I didn’t understand why that wasn’t the option at first being as though you have signage in the room. The air conditioner didn’t work well at all. The next night someone had a barking dog. Apparently I missed the signs it was a pet friendly hotel because I would have never stayed there. Needless to say I was told there was nothing that could be done about the dog barking because they can’t enter a room. They looked up the room the barking was coming from and stated they didn’t have a pet fee. Well all the more reason to address the problem asap. After that I was truly uncomfortable as I already don’t like hotels. The fact that you all don’t separate the rooms for non dog people is crazy. I don’t own a pet and I would never pay to stay where a pet is. Not everyone is an animal lover and not to mention people have allergies. Housekeeping was bare and not great at all. The rooms are outdated and although it was listed on another review renovations were taking place, I saw no evidence of that. I’ve stayed at Hyatt’s previously and this particular location is underwhelming and needs help in my opinion. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and I won’t be returning here.

I love how calming the environment feels and I love goldfish !!!
