Chambre un peu chère

First time in Palm Springs and didn’t know what to expect. Needed a pet friendly place and this came up in my searches. Large but older property so it does show its age. We were in building 4 overlooking the pool. The pool was the less crowded one so it worked fine for us. The room was fine, the beds weren’t as comfortable and the walls are thin so you hear a lot but I sort of expected that to a degree. The pool was nice and we enjoyed sitting by the fire pit. We would run up to the other pool to get drinks from the bar and bring them back. We ate one lunch at the pool bar and the food was surprisingly very good. The front desk was very helpful, David from IN got us checked in easily and was very helpful explaining the different things going on. We saw mixed reviews so we were a little nervous about what we were in for but we enjoyed the stay. Next time I would probably stay more towards downtown to avoid having to drive places but fora first time visit or if your looking to just hang by the pool and do a little day drinking this was a reasonable place to stay.

If I could give a zero stars, I would. Worst experience I’ve ever had. Check in is at 4 and arrived at 7 pm. Was told my room was not ready. Asked for a late check out and kept they telling me to call the next day. On checkout day, was told they don’t give late checkouts. The rooms its self is not great for the price. There was a motion sensor light in the room that you cannot turn off. Everytime you toss and turned in the bed the light would turn on.
