Days Inn by Wyndham Lexington

Staff was very welcoming. Room was clean and spacious. Room was quiet.

Halls and rooms smelled. Floor in room was sticky. Needs more renovations.

Liked that they had smoking rooms and they didn't smell like a pack of cigarettes. Liked that it was quiet

The floor could've definitely been cleaner. The washer and dryer need to be fixed. The tub in our room was stopped up so it just filled with water when we showered and drained very very slowly

The checkin was convenient, the staffer girl was pleasant and helpful made it easy. Checkout was different story as checkout guy was completely indifferent and not helpful at all. The rate for the two night (week day, tues-thurs) was fair. Room was clean and comfortable enough, water pressure was very low with shower issues and sink pressure low and slow draining. Coffee maker un cleaned but supplied. Didnt dare use it. Breakfast was bare bones and disappointing (on 3 seperate mornings).

Location

After being given not much choice in room location (late booking yes). Loud obnoxious noisy inconsiderate neighbor kids screaming from the moment walked up to door at 10pm Once the kid (and adult) noise subsided at about 1am the loud blaring tv/music continued to about 4am. The shower head leaked all over the bathroom floor. The facecloth draped over the shower head by someone didnt seem to help much, but the low water pressure in the shower must have kept it from being worse. Coffee/tea in the morning wasnt much of an option as the in room Coffee maker seemed to be more of a health risk to use than going without. Entire room floor was sticky but , cleaned anyway. Didnt bother with attempting to switch rooms as it seemed the on duty person didnt seem like they could be bothered anyway. Chose to hope all the noise would subside - which it did not. Couldnt get invoice for work bc no one around at checkout , but even though I stayed here two nights earlier in the week (this was my 3rd night different room) because that guy at checkout informed me not allowed per policy to print invoice "or anything else" bc I use booking.com. The giri at check in the 1st night was pleasant and helpful, however. I try to use this hotel muliple times a year for the last couple years as I work out by lexington within 30/40 minute drive. After this experience I doubt I will be back. Theres lots of other choices nearby I have stayed with previously, fortunately.
