Days Inn by Wyndham Ottawa

My stay at the Days Inn Downtown Ottawa was completely unacceptable from start to finish. When I first arrived, the front door was locked, and there were no staff members in sight. I had to stand outside for nearly 15 minutes, repeatedly pressing the call button, before anyone finally let me in — an immediate red flag for the poor management of this place. Once inside, I was placed in the motel section, which is never shown in their online photos. The room was filthy: there were stains on the walls, bedding, and nightstand, with red stains on the curtains, a dirty bathroom, and an air conditioner full of mould. The overall atmosphere felt unsafe(especially being 2 teenage girls), unclean, and completely unwelcoming. When I requested a room change (despite other rooms clearly being available), I was refused. I also asked for a refund because I felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe, but was again denied. The staff were unhelpful, dismissive, and showed no concern for guest safety or cleanliness. This hotel is misleading, unsanitary, and poorly managed. It does not match the photos or descriptions online, and no one should have to endure such conditions. For your own comfort and safety, avoid this place at all costs.

The walls were quite thin but it's a close walk to Parliament Hill

The hotel is okay but no coffee available in 4 nights-stay. The area is quite unsafe with many people around in psychological distress. Wi-Fi was not stable : unable to work from my room.

Bedroom is large
