Ruby River Hotel

WORST hotel experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve stayed a lot of places. Mob scene with hundreds of screaming kids at the pool all day, and pool is surrounded by all the rooms. Loud partying continued until very late at night. 10pm cutoff time totally ignored. Management did not help despite repeated requests. We and many others were refused access to the restaurant and outside patio, even to just sit down with a drink from the bar, while there were still quite a few tables and lounge chairs available. Way way way too many rooms in comparison to the other facilities. Whole place is mismanaged, overcrowded, and understaffed. Miserable and disastrous stay!!!

Nice location near river, but otherwise this was by far the WORST hotel experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve stayed in a lot of places. Gross overcrowding at pool and restaurant. Pool was a mob scene with hundreds of screaming kids all day. Huge problem because the pool is the central focus of the property and surrounded by the five buildings with rooms overlooking it. Not safe at all for the kids and impossible to even be in our room and hear ourselves talk. Went out for dinner and long walk to try to wait them out. Incredibly loud partying continued outside our window at the pool until very late at night. 10pm cutoff time was a joke. Zero security effort to send people at pool back to their rooms. Complained repeatedly with no relief. Also shocked to be rejected completely from restaurant and outside patio. All we wanted to do was take a drink from the bar down and sit on a chair or couch. Not allowed, even though we weren’t asking for any table service and there were seats available. People were turned away from the restaurant too, even with all the indoor tables open. The whole place is incredibly understaffed. Appears the capacity of the rooms is double or triple the capacity of the restaurant, pool area, and staffing level. Could not handle the crowds. Nightmare!!!

Mob scene. Loud noise at pool right outside window all day and until very late. Refused to let us sit on patio or in restaurant even with seats available. Mismanaged, overcrowded, understaffed, and unresponsive.

Peaceful setting on the river with convenient restaurant with in. The restaurant staff didn't seem like they wanted to be there and the service was average. Outside seating on the river was fabulous.

Location...the river walk was wonderful

Located right off the VERY EXCELLENT city walking trail

Only one chair for our party of three. We asked for two more chairs, which were graciously, quickly supplied.
