Conrad Tianjin

Great hotel. Great location Great people Facilities and room are very good and clean. Special mention Iris Zhu. She is nice , efficient and professional, make everything work smoothly. Highly recommend if you are in Tianjin.

My staying experience at this "Conrad" Oct. 4-5 was a complete disaster and disappointment. My wife was sick and tired when we finally got to the hotel. I dialed the so-called "Customer Service Center" and asked for two whole wheat pillows and two extra bottle of water. The staff who answered the call told me that there was only one nanny on duty by then, and therefore, she did not know when our request could be attended to (This prompted me to think about a motel where there is almost no service or everything is self-serviced). I asked her to check and let me know. After 40 minutes without feedback, I called again. This time a new voice told me that she was on the night shift and she did not know what happened before. When I asked if they had a log book with a record, I received a very confident "No". After my repetition, I told her that my wife was sick and we could not wait for too long. During the next 30 minutes, my wife fell asleep without the wholewheat pillow and the water. I called to tell the "Customer Service Center" that we were sleeping and did not need the service any longer. I specifically asked her to inform the nanny (Tired to figure out whichever city she was in or how many more kilometers away she was from Tianjin) not to bother with the delivery. However, in another 20-30 minutes we were awaken by the door bell, no surprise: it was the nanny who had finally finished her marathon and arrived to disturb with no longer needed "service". It was almost 12:00 midnight by then. Everybody woke up and got frustrated with ourselves for the most stupid decision we made to select this "Conrad". The second morning when everybody was still asleep, we were awaken by the door bell at 8 am something. It was a smiling staff asking if they could provide paid laundry service. It was a terrible night that we spent at "Conrad". My wife got a high temperature and my baby girl got a strong headache. We checked out in the morning after this wake-up call. What does a standard hotel provide: a good night of sleep! However, what has this "Conrad" provided...?

Iris Zhu, who checked me in is the most professional service staff I have ever met. Hotel is beautiful as well, when you walked in, you knew is Conrad. Very friendly staff. 10 of 10. Looking forward to stay again.

Newly opened hotel. Very nice design. Friendly staff who are willing to help. I am a diamond member and was fortunate to be upgrade to suite room after asking if any availability. Originally they had only upgraded to executive room. Rooms are spacious and have all the amenities you could wish for. Very modern decor and everything is brand new since the hotel just opened mid August 2019. Probably one of the best designed rooms I’ve seen in China. I used to stay at Ritz Carlton Tianjin but I will now choose the Conrad. Nice executive lounge and great Staff. Happy hour and snack food from 6-8pm including beer, wine, and most common spirits. Soft Drinks and Coffee all day. Food was decent but not great. Hotel is close walking distance to a mall with many stores, restaurants, and 7 Fresh grocery market. FYI.......Avoid the tourist trap hard rock hotel. Overpriced and worst hard rock I’ve been to. Still some learning to be done. I was disturbed three times in one day when the “Do not Disturb” light was on. Probably just a training issue. Dinner buffet restaurant needs a lot of improvement. Avoid it and eat in the mall for 25% of the price and better quality. Would have given 5 stars but the price is a bit high for Tianjin and the hotel restaurants and entertainment leave for something to be desired.

The warm service and good location, you can easy arrival train station, very close to Line 3. Good breakfast and Chinese restaurant, i think here is the best luxury hotel in Tianjin. Highly recommend.

A brand new luxury hotel opened in its perfect condition. The hotel location is very convenient, 5 mins walking distance from the subway station and only 30 mins high speed train from Beijing South. That’s absolutely a good choice for your weekend getaway. One night is too short, wish to come back and stay longer.
