SpringHill Suites by Marriott Springfield Southwest

Overall property, rooms and breakfast were excellent! Can tell it's a newer property but if they upkeep this hotel it will be a great stop for a long time! Front desk employees were very friendly but they didn't treat us as a Marriott Gold Elite Member which we are, coming from a previous hotel that did a great job and thanked us and everything for being members and our status. Just a friendly touch that we always appreciate. Would highly recommend this property!

This is a beautiful property with the regular Marriott amenities and a great location. Right next-door to Scheels and only minutes away from great restaurants, bars, and other shopping. The decor is beautiful and modern in the shower was nice and warm.

A hotel

Wonderful hotel to consider while visiting Springfield, IL. 1.Only 15minutes or so by car to Springfield's key tourist attractions such as Abraham Lincoln home, tomb, museum, library etc. 2.Very clean, large and modern rooms. 3.The breakfast buffet was outstanding and the table surfaces were continually cleaned by the staff(super attentive!) 4.The gym was super clean. 5.The indoor swimming pool is heated and kids will love them. 6.Excellent location and very friendly staff. 7.Use the long sidewalks outside the hotel to run/walk, if you do not prefer not to use the Gym. 8.Plenty of free parking is available. If you are going to the Springfield IL, look no further and stay here. Overall, very pleased and again highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area! Kudos to their staff and keep it up!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Being away from home over the holidays, they made us feel like family. The breakfast attendants were awesome and the facilities sparkly clean. I’d stay again and recommend this hotel to friends.

Very nice hotel located next to Scheels Sporting Goods store. Easy walk across street. Room was large, clean, and bright. Very nice room layout with separate sofa area. Sofa makes into two single beds (trundle under sofa); making accommodations for 6 guests. Very nice hot breakfast and seating area. Only complaint, checkout was 12pm so we drove into town. While we were out cleaning staff came in and started cleaning, even though “do not disturb” sign was on door. When we returned to pickup items the cleaning lady had already thrown out the items, although there was nothing of significance, we were very surprised. On duty manager offered little apology for the early intrusion. We would stay here again, but will be more aware about leaving items unattended on day of checkout.

Extremely clean and comfortable, with great beds, linens, pillows. Nice large screen TV and lots of lighting options and lamps. Also liked all of the electrical and charging outlets.. Breakfast was good, with both hot type options such as scrambled eggs, sausage patties, sausage gravy and biscuits and waffles, to other options such as oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, etc. I am very picky about where I stay, and this hotel was one of the cleanest and most modern chain hotels I've ever stayed at. If you are going to the Springfield IL, this is the place to stay. Only about 10 minutes or less from the Abraham Lincoln sites such as his tomb, home and museum.

The facility is clean, the staff was fantastic, my only complaint was that the Internet both free and premium was terribly slow. Overall everything was nice and I would stay again.

Room was clean, sleek design. Generous breakfast included. Checkin staff was horrible though. First gave me a room that was already occupied, then tried to charge me a higher rate for a king bed. Manager had to come and correct everything.

The water was hot even after 2-3 people taking a bath consecutively. The room cooled off to the desired temperate eventually. It was clean and the staff nice. The lighting in the room was a little dim for an overall view for the room. I love that they have smart TVs and I can log into my Netflix.
