The only positive part of our experience was that we received a full refund without issue. The front desk/check-in area itself looked somewhat presentable.

The overall condition of the property was concerning. The exterior appeared poorly maintained. The ice machine looked damaged, and the grassy area had a strong urine odor with visible fecal matter. When walking upstairs, the hallway/walkway smelled strongly of marijuana and urine. Inside the room, it smelled heavily of bleach but was very outdated. The air conditioning unit looked old and unreliable, and the mattress did not properly fit the bed frame. When I pulled back the sheets to inspect the mattress, there was no mattress encasement. I noticed small dark particles, and a dead bed bug fell out from the bedding (photos provided). We were shown a second room, but it also did not appear properly cleaned (clump of dog hair found), and the AC again looked questionable. Due to cleanliness, pest concerns, and the overall environment, we did not feel safe or comfortable staying and chose to leave.
