Small parking space.

this hotel, motel style was perfect for our stay. we were welcomed by Mar and Francesca, both excellent and kind person, working at the front desk, who addressed all our concerns and gave us some extra tips in where to go for dinner or breakfast. the room was enough,a bed, a tv, hair dryer, and nice bathroom with soaps, and towels. The bed was confy and big, and there was no noise from the exterior as this place is located in a nice nieghbourhood and really quiet. Close to many shops, and restaurants, literally 5 mins walking, and from some supermarkets. I will be coming back for sure.

It was close to the Japanese Garden.

Great location, affordable, and clean and decent rooms. Great views of downtown Portland from our room. It's about a 15 minute walk to downtown. Also walkable to Washington Park. They are dog friendly and have (first come, first serve) parking which is super valuable in the neighborhood. We have stayed twice and always found a parking spot.

We were in the suites and we liked the size and the view from the 5th floor. The small kitchen with dishwasher, coffeemaker, fridge and stovetop was great. We used the fold-out bed. Just be aware that the person who has the fold out bed does have to walk through the other person's bedroom to get to the toilet. Very clean and comfortable. Had all that we needed. Supermarket, drug store, cannabis shop, steakhouse, bakery, bars, Trader Joe's and pizza place all within a couple blocks.

A non-slip mat and grab bars would be a nice and safe addition to the shower. Parking is a bit of a challenge and the property is on a hill so you need to walk up a little or be dropped off by reception.

We love staying here when in Portland - this is our fourth visit (I think!). Great location close to the city but not too loud for a city centre hotel. Free cookies and coffee/tea a bonus! Rooms are spacious, some thoughtful touches - water, oatmeal, orange juice provided in rooms - which we appreciated. Beds are really comfy which is so important!

Parking's a bit tight! And the young chap on reception whilst we were there wasn't very helpful or friendly... We asked for a recommendation for a Chinese restaurant nearby and his response was 'google it'.

The location was great for an event we attended and the price of our stay included the parking, which was located right on-site.
