La Hacienda San Jose Silicon Valley

Staff were all friendly, greeted us whenever they could; leaving cold water out for guests was a nice touch. Checkout was simple, we got everything that we paid for. I left my pillow behind and they were helpful in facilitating the return. I will add, however, that it seems like only one person was being helpful about it, bless her (Nicole).

Seemed like all the amenities were shut down, was just a bed. Pretty dated

Hallways, floors and rooms look run down. Noticed homeless person got in the pool area. That was my first and last time staying in this hotel.

Opened the window to homeless campers. The photos on the internet did not match the reality. The carpets were dirty and the rooms had a musty smell. We left immediately. We felt unsafe

I was disgusted during my stayed. The whole room smelled bad , dirty and stained carpet everywhere . There was blood stains which made me feel more disgusted. The floor in the bathroom was not swept or moped I couldn't sleep because the beds uncomfortable and my window views were a couple mobile homes with people living in it . I couldn't open the windows because there was no privacy ..

Our room had heavy black mold. I took photos and showed them to front desk. They did not move me or give me any compensation. When my third party reached out to them, they said they stay firm on their policy. They do not have a policy for this issue. I still have the photos. I have children they were willing to put at risk and not refund my stay.

Wasn't the cleanest, check in took a while even though front desk was not busy, $200 deposit is a little crazy for the hotel quality, the back emergency door was open and easy for anyone to access without any hotel keys. We didn't like that since our room was near it on the first floor. Didn't feel very safe.
