The location was excellent but the best part was the kind owner who made us feel very welcome and even gave us a lift back to the station. we were lucky in the sense that we were the only guests staying there during our stay.

Not so accessible if you have many big luggages because of the narrow steps but you have to be smart on how to manage it.

洞爺湖に近くて良い。 洞爺湖万世閣ホテルの日帰り入浴も安価で利用できる（朝と夜で男女入れ替わり::展望の良くサウナもある） HIDEの隣にある爺さん婆さんが営む「味の一平」は串もおでんも絶品です。（営業時間が短いので注意：20:00頃には閉店？） オーナーさんに会うことはなかったが、SMSで連絡頂けたりとても親切でした。

Location was good. Beds were good. Very clean. Owner was very nice and accomodating.

Shower door was a little wonky. We were the only ones there, but the upper floor can house up to 9. Keep in mind that when it is full, it will be a bit crowded.

若要找簡單的住宿，這間很不錯喔！價格便宜，地點方便，雖然房間在二樓，拿行李也還行。老闆也很好！房裡有放室內電話，抵達後可以撥給房東；房裡也有旅遊資料供房客參考。建議大門安裝門鎖或密碼鎖，讓住戶可以鎖門會安心一點喔！（可能這裡治安非常良好吧！）

The place is enough for our family of 5. Owner was very friendly, he came to meet us, gave us some snacks and drinks, and recommended some nice eating place which we went and enjoyed the food very much. It's a short walk to the lakeside which is good for morning walk. Thank you host.

Separate bathroom and toilet were small but then again I guess japanese houses are like that, five of us we made do, no problem. We have luggages to carry upstairs, no problem the children helped with them.

The owner was very kind and helpful. He did his best in accommodating our requests for laundry (easy, washing mashines just next door), kitchen (not so easy, there was a microwave, a fridge, and a water heater, but no proper kitchen with utensils), and local transportation options. The level of hygene was very high. Beds were comfortable too. The location is great, just one minute walk to the lake shore and 10 minute walk to the bus terminal with connections to Sapporo. We were also given 500 yen tickets for a hotel onsen that normally costs 1500 yen.

For a fairly small investment, this guesthouse could be improved significantly: Install hooks in the room and bathroom to hang clothes Install some shelves or cupboards to store personal things in the room Provide basic utensils such as plates, cups, glasses, cutlery
