Location is good ,Close to the Lake . Not very clean. A bit smelly. Over priced in the off-season based on the quality of accommodation

The owner was absolutely lovely! The rooms were comfortable and we had everything we needed. The location was perfect for getting to the grand onsen, and wasn't far from several bus stops to get around Lake Toya. There is a coin laundry and a great sushi place next door. We were allowed to store our bags in the laundry on the day of check out, which helped up make the most of our last day. Would 110% stay here again

Good location. Comfortable room with shared amenities and a discount coupon for a gorgeous onsen across the street. Heater provided in the room. Kind owner left us a little Halloween goody bag.

The bedroom is heated and very cozy but the shared space isn’t heated, so prepare some socks if you’re visiting in the fall or winter

The extra toothbrashes, the room itself with all its sleeping facilities ready for both cold and warm nights. It was great.

There were sound out of the window at night that woke me up at night.

We had the property to ourselves which was a great help. The owner gave us vouchers for a discounted onsen and because one of us was resident in Japan they were able to include us in the Hokkaido voucher scheme to encourage internal tourism

The owner appeared to have forgotten we were coming despite my sending two updates. They did appear and quickly sorted it out, giving us the whole property. There was no cutlery or crockery, although there were paper cups. The owner assured us that the voucher scheme meant we were entitled to a discount on the property which would be refunded, that hasn't happened.
