Great location

The location is great, being walkable to Beijing Lu and surroundings and located within a mall and next to another mall and a basement full of shops. Check-in and out was relatively straightforward although the two guys at the counter seem not too pleased to serve. In terms of facilities, there is washing machine and oven and fridge and a dish washing basin. We washed our clothes and were able to borrow a dryer to dry our clothes in. Toilet paper thick and nice.

We booked 3 rooms. While no complains about the other 2 rooms, my room 2709 was terrible. Once checked in, we were surprised at how dark the room was. As we discovered- at least 3 lights were spoiled. Luckily the team came immediately to repair them. The queen bed is obviously badly sunken in the middle, we suspect that the board underneath must have broken. There was also a very suspicious looking reddish yellowish stain on the side of the bed. I think the housekeeping is not so perfect as actually a family member in the other room also found a used tissue in her bed and under the bed when she first checked in. We stayed there 5 days, the bed sheet was not changed for at least 4 nights because I recognise the same stain on the bed sheet. Worst of all is the very poor drainage in the bathroom. We woke up to very bad sewage smell every morning and sometimes when he returned to the apartment at the end of the day. I suspect that the room has not been used for a long time since it is so badly maintained!

Location above subway station and surrounding restaurant/shopping

We visited 4 different cities and hotels in China, this was by far the worst experience we had. The staff are all unfriendly, rude, unhelpful. When they check us in upon our arrival, they spoke maybe 2 words with us, act like we are bothering them for making them work. We reserved a unit for family of 4, yet they refused to give us more than two key and 3 towels. We had to asked multiple people multiple times in order to get that 4th bath towel. There were no coffee in the room nor dinning table (despite their listing description and amenities). Upon check out, we ask if we could store our baggage there, they pointed us to a room to self serve. They don’t count the number of our bags nor give us any type of claim card. When we return to get our baggage, they told us to help ourselves without even checking our identity. Anyone could literally walk into a fire escape door and take all the guest luggage without any issue. The room is also in very bad shape, water stains everywhere on wall and wall paper. The picture taken was at least 20 years old. There are hotel that cost half the price with way better value. I would recommend to stay clear of this one.
