I have stayed here many times and have always been looked after

Breakfast no longer included in the cost of the room .. other local hotels are offering breakfast at a similar cost but included in the room cost

The room was a good size. The bedding was clean.

Totally inadequate parking. Internal Bathroom that smelt of drains even tho we left the fan running non stop. No opening windows. The window we had was directly opposite a window in another building but there were no net curtains or sheer curtains so we had to leave the heavy curtains closed for privacy. Small carton of spring water provided on day one but not day two or three. No hooks to hang wet towels on ( just one radiator which dried one towel). Pub was very noisy, floorboards were very creaky so it was difficult to sleep. Furniture a mish mash of old brown furniture, not at all appealing. I ordered dinner the first night… very undercooked inedible belly pork, no apologies given let alone a refund offered . This place is a pretty basic pub with no real idea of how, or priority , to give good service to hotel guests.

Nice building, good location, good food/drink selection in the restaurant, staff were very friendly

Could not park on property due to only a few spaces that were constantly used so parked elsewhere The room did get overly warm with the window open and the fan on Keycard took three attempts everytime to get into our room

The hotel was very nice and the food lovely. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Shower was amazing . Good access from room to car park

The room was very small and hot. The bed was tiny and the wardrobe door kept swinging open.
