B&B Dimora Delle Donnole Bergamo Alta

Set on a hillside, with stunning views across the valley, Dimora Della Donnole offered its guests a perfect opportunity to spend time in the Italian countryside. This 16th century villa was lovingly restored into spacious apartments, with a modern ensuite and comfortable bed. Greta and her family were generous hosts, offering all manner of assistance and an indulgent breakfast, served on the terrace. With onsite parking, we opted to walk the almost 3km to Bergamo’s Old Town. Here we found the most beautiful architecture, Roman ruins and three incredible churches to explore, along with dozens of restaurants.

I think it was the most amazing spot you could find , the house had a nice feel and loads of space in terms of the room size . The management super friendly ! And made the best pancake ! I really loved the stay and had memorable time

Over all was all good , maybe some slippers not to walk bare feet in the room

Greta, our host was lovely and welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic.. This villa had the most specular views. We loved our stay here

The host was very helpful & friendly She went out of her way to advise us on restaurant choices & things to do. She also drove us to a couple of places. Breakfast was delicious & hearty! The location in the Old Town was a very big bonus.

Wonderful stay in this beautiful traditional Italian home. Huge suite with windows out to the hills and valley. Gorgeous breakfast made with eggs from the garden and hams/cheese and wonderful coffee! The hosts are so warm and welcoming, gave amazing recommendations for a local restaurant for dinner. We will be back soon with the full family!
