B&B Dimora Delle Donnole Bergamo Alta

My stay was amazing, the Green suite that I booked is even more beautiful than the pictures, it was larger than I expected. The view is wonderful from all of the windows, in front with the mountains, and on the side with the garden. I enjoyed the silence, you could hear the birds singing, which was very relaxing. Greta is a wonderful host, the breakfast that she prepared every morning was delicious and everything that you might need. I loved in particular the cakes that she makes, I will remember fondly the "crostata", a jam pie, that she made fresh every morning. The area is beautiful and very safe, the road to the Citta Alta is very easy to walk on foot, and the sceneries are wonderful. I definitelly recommend the place, and I would return for sure. P.S Since you are in the area, go to the San Pellegrino terme spa, you will not regret!

Hosts. It felt like at home… if you have XV century home. Views are splendid.

It’s an ancient beautiful, cozy house in a wonderful location up on the hillside. The view from the balcony is breathtaking! The apartment is very clean and well equipped. You can feel yourself like a part of great history in this house. Greta, the owner of the house, and her husband were so hospitable, sweet and helpful that we dream of returning to this wonderful house again someday. Thank you very much for our unforgettable stay!

Our hostess was delightful. Her breakfast offerings were delicious and very plentiful. The weather was rainy so we could not enjoy the lovely outdoor space, but I am sure it is wonderful on warm, sunny days.

A magical place in a pastoral location Large, spacious and clean rooms. The owners of the place Greta and her husband Alexander welcomed us and helped us with every request. Great and delicious breakfast, We will definitely come back. Thank you very much Greta

We arrived after 3am due to very delayed flight. Host stayed up to welcome us. Amazing rooms, wonderful outlook from the balcony. Lovely breakfast at a time that suited us.

Great suite in an old building with fantastic views of the Bergamo area. Excellent breakfast. Very clean. Staff were wonderful and very hospitable.

Nothing to dislike.

The property was beautiful! It is located on the hillside overlooking The lower portion of Bergamo and is just a 10 minute walk into the upper and older portion of Bergamo. I loved that the property had the feeling that it was isolated in the country yet was only a minutes walk to the city center. There was also a place to park the car which is a rare find along the Bergamo hillside. The property had a peaceful and nurturing energetic that was complimented by the caring and attention to detail offered by Greta, the hostess.

There was nothing not to like about the property.
