Spark by Hilton Fishkill

Check-in took 25 minutes because computers weren't working properly. Under interior construction with circular saws being run inside the hallways instead of the materials being taken outside to cut, causing dust, noise and breathing issues; blocked hallways from construction materials that were both a fire and trip hazard. Elevator would not go past floor 3, forcing you to carry all your luggage to the next floor. Staff mostly polite, but couldn't care less that the construction was both a hazard and major disruption to guest comfort.

The breakfast was very good. The beds were super comfortable. The room was nice and clean.

We booked this hotel partly because it supposedly had a gym. But it was closed for renovations. There was a horrible smell of smoke in our bathroom at times. Our fridge froze all our items every day.

People were great.

One elevator only and would break down. Have to walk down 4 flights to get them to reset elevator. . This was very difficult with our luggage. However staff was very apologetic and explained they were going through a remodel

Room was clean and recently renovated. Parking lot safe, well lit, and close to hotel. Check in and check out were incredibly easy. Hot breakfast was very good - normal stuff, coffee/tea, waffle maker, bagels/toast, cereal/milk, eggs and sausage patties, and apple/orange juice. Hotel was in close proximity to a gas station/convenience store which was nice to get on our way.

First put in a room with air conditioner not working. Needed to change rooms a 10pm. Then the shower in the room was not working well, no shower head pressure.
