I like that it was affordable and convenient

The bathroom was in need of a good paint job to cover up all the plaster and damaged ceiling.

My reservation was for 8 nights. Upon check-in I was told housekeeping only cleaned every third day. But they didn't. I practically had to beg them to change the sheets and clean the room. So the ONE time they cleaned the room, they didn't actually change the sheets! I know because earlier in the week I dropped some makeup on the bottom sheet and it left a little mark. So first thing I checked was for that spot - and it was still there! Thankfully I threw away my own garbage everyday so I left the room clean. They credited my stay for one night after complaining that my room didn't get cleaned when I asked. And they acted like they did me a favor. I didn't confront them about the dirty sheets because I only had a few more nights to go and I didn't want to make waves. The indoor gym was not useable for my entire stay. There was a broken door at the end of hallway that was unlocked and slightly ajar because it wouldn't close. Anyone could have walked in from the outside. There were some other issues too, like a few unfriendly, unprofessionally dressed front desk staff. They should at least look up from their cellphone to see who is arriving and walking thru the lobby.

the mattress on bed was not comfortable could have I used extra blanket had to request toiletries.

Friendly staff. Mini fridge, microwave, desk and a mini coffee maker in the room. Free breakfast which is your choice of waffle, begal, English muffin. Coffee, orange juice, hot tea, Swiss miss cocoa. Also have an ice machine available. Many different fast food places are not far.
