Hotel du Vin & Bistro Glasgow

Room was fantastic

our room was next to reception, all night the receptionist was chatting to other staff, disturbing our sleep

Ein Hotel wie aus dem Bilderbuch! Very british. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Liebevolle Ausstattung, absolut sauber, Speisen sehr gut und preislich angemessen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

The room was lovely, spacious, well appointed and beautifully decorated. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Parking is a Ringo paid for app outside the hotel. Not their fault and nearby is free but would be nice if Council could give them permits for guests.

Our first impression was the hotel was a lovely period property which was beautifully decorated. It was close to the places we intended to visit on our stay. We only ate in the hotel for breakfast which was lovely and beautifully presented.

We upgraded to a suite. Sadly either it wasn’t used often or it wasn’t properly cleaned often. We were upset to see stains and marks on the furniture and lots of dust on the ornate mirror surrounding and furniture legs. The skirting boards had what appeared to be coffee stains on them. Large clumps of dust/dirt in the bathroom corners. These little things made it feel unclean. I’d like to think this wasn’t the case across the rest of the hotel rooms. We didn’t address these points with the staff as we were only there for two nights.
